FEAST!!! FEAST!!! HAPPY FEAST OUR DEAR FR. JIJO

Ashadeep family solemnly celebrated the feast day of our dear Rev. Fr. JIJO on 17th of March, 2014. His patron’s day falls on 19th March. All the members were greeted him with flowers and bouquet. The students put up a colourful cultural programme in the evening.

HOLI-CELEBRATION OF COLOURS

It is a wonderful day of colours. We are from different families, from different cast and religion, different culture, but in Ashadeep we are one family, where there is no any distinction, no separation, no one is poor and rich, no one is black and white. Yes! We are differently talented and differently abled. With Joy and happy, we celebrated HOLI –the regional fest well of North India with different colours in Ashadeep on March 17th.

HAP... HAP... HAPPY FESTAL GREETINGS TO OUR DEAR SR. PRINCIPAL

Students and Staff of St. Joseph’s School clap and sang a melodious greeting song. Yes! Today is a joyfull day for us. We recollect the sweet memories of Rev. Sr. Josina DST, the Principal of our School. She is celebrating her feast day on 20 th of March in the school premises. On this occasion Mr. Pramod , one of our senior staff facilitated her and said Sr. Principal is very simple and humble and totally dedicated for the betterment of students and of school. Students staged a beautiful and colourful programme in the school.

SPECIAL TRAINING

Rev. Fr. Devasi Madawana is one of the eminent resource persons for Special Integrated Schools. He has 38 yrs experience, especially for coaching classes for Deaf and Dumb students and teachers. He qualified M.A, M.Ed, M.Phil, Ph.D, and Diploma in H.I. He is one of the staff members of Ashadeep Centre for the Disabled.

He gives speech therapy training for the deaf & dumb students. He is expert in teaching of lip reading the deaf students. By introducing new methods and teaching aids for normal teachers, he helps them to show the way how to teach the disable children.

Fr. Devasi has taken a model class for the teachers of our school on 06-03-2014, in the presence of deaf & dumb students. It was very helpful and inspire for all the school staff. He encourages the students to understand the lip movements of their teachers.

ADIUE – FRIENDS

St. Joseph’s integrated family gave heartfelt farewell to our dear friends of Xth class. One of the Senior teacher Mr. Chiranji recalled “You are our precious ones”. All the 28th Xth class students gathered together with IXth class students and teachers on 17th of February. Yes! You are fit to appear for Uttar Pradesh Board Examination. Congrats......and Best wishes!!!!!! With moving hearts and hands younger ones repeated Goodbye friends..... ADIUE FRIENDS

REV. FR. DEVASY MADAWANA TURNS TO 72

72nd Birth Day of Rev. Fr. Devasy Madawana was celebrated very enthusiastically by Ashadeep family on 29th of January, 2014. Family members including children wished and greeted him with bouquet and prayed for long healthy life to him. There was well prepared cultural programme by students in the evening and shared all delicious food.

REPUBLIC DAY

On 26th of January, Ashadeep was celebrated 65th republic day of India very solemnly in the premises of St. Joseph’s School. National Flag hoisted by Rev. Fr. George K cmi, the director of the Centre. Mr. Prem Prakash, SDM of Nagina paid a short visit our centre on the joyful occasion of the Day. He spent two hours chatting with our children and shared his happiness by giving tasty refreshment to them.

AWARD TO ASHADEEP

Fr. George Kachappilly CMI, the Director of Ashadeep Centre for the Disabled, was awarded and honoured by the Uttar Pradesh state minister Mr. Manoj Pares MP and District Magistrate Mr. Ajay Deep Singh IAS for his selfless service among the minority communities in the society, on the occasion of Minority Day celebration on 18th December 2013 at Bijnor.

“APNA DIN-13”

Ashadeep celebrated “Apna Din” on December 4th, 5th and 6th in the premises of Ashadeep. Apna Din means “OUR DAY”. It is really the Joyful voice of differently abled children. December 3rd officially declared as the Disable day in India. On this occasion Ashadeep arranged three days get together as a Disabled Children’s Meet. There are 451 differently abled children from different Diocese of Bijnor participated in this meet.” Karuna Social Service Society”, the social department of the Diocese of Bijnor, fully involved and supported the meet. They distributed shining prizes for the winners and encouraged them by giving track suits for all.

The Chief Guest of the opening ceremony of Apna Din -2013 was Mr. Shiv Shanker IAS, the Commissioner of Muradabad Division opened the meet by flag hoisting and Guest of honour of the Apna Din was Mr. Amrender Kumar Shankar IPS, DIG of Muradabad Police Division inaugurated the Cultural meet.

Three days of living together of children is made a remarkable event history of Ashadeep, which entering the 10th year of dedicated services. All children were actively participated in all competitions and enjoyed well.

The Chief Guest of the concluding ceremony of Apna Din was Mr. Rajesh Krishna IPS, the Police Superintend of Bijnor District, and the Rt. Rev. Bp. John Vadakel CMI, the bishop of Bijnor was the President of the closing ceremony. Mr. Prem Prakash, SDM of Nagina was the Guest of honour of the function and he declared the APNA DIN -2013 closed.
