Unit for Visually Impaired

Ashadeep gives light to the blind and low visioned children. They perform their curricular and co-curricular activities fairly well with the support of trained experts.

Special attention is given to :
  • Practicing Daily living skills
  • Environmental information.
  • Object Perception Orientation and Mobility
  • Language skills (oral, read and verbal)
  • Introduction to Braille

Unit for Physically Challenged

Children with weak body and impaired limbs at Ashadeep have tremendous academic faculties which lead them to creative works. These creative works and exercises make them strong. We strengthen them to face the challenges in life.

They are given :
  • Regular Physiotherapy
  • Daily Living Skills
  • Corrective surgery
  • Provision of mobility aids (Calipers, Tricycles, Wheel Chair etc.)

Unit for Mentally Challenged

The quality of life of the mentally challenged depends upon the quality of services rendered to them. In Ashadeep mentally challenged autistic children, slow learners, learning disabled, attention deficit hyperactive children are benefited. The educable are educated and the trainable are trained with structure and systematic teaching programme. They are made self-dependent to lead a dignified life.

They are provided with :

  • Diagnostic and assessment services
  • Parent counselling and guidance
  • Learning by doing & Playing
  • Art and craft etc.

Unit for Hearing Impaired

Deafness is a hidden disability; therefore, a hearing impaired child needs the early identification, prompt intervention, supportive help from the family, society and the professionals.

So we provide them :
  • Regular check-up and treatment
  • Provision of Hearing aids
  • Speech and hearing therapy
  • Introduction to sign language

Vocational Training Centre

In order to assist the children to stand on their own feet, Ashadeep offers them many vocational courses considering their abilities and capabilities.
